hi can anyone help just downloaded campastops put on to tomtom when i look in files they are there but cant get to work no icon on tomtom thanks stubby

You should have an option to show poi on the map just tick the box

what files have you downloaded?

What sat nav do you have

There should be a bmp file and a ov2 file type

there is another thread running that explains where they go.

if you have the correct files in the right place then you need to enable them for them to be seen on route, this will be in the settings mine is enable poi.

depends what type of inverter......pure sinewave or modified sinewave.

the lappy will work on either but a mod sinewave could cause some problems whereas the pure sinewave is exactly the same as you have at home.

Personally i would not take the risk of using an inverter unless as john says its a pure sine wave.

In any case 12v dc to 240vac to 19vdc doesn't make sense

Go from 12vdc to 19v dc

thanks sinbad went to maplin last week an got one but had to take back cos jack plugs will not fit my laptop its a hp g70 120ea its a big round plug the lad at maplin sed not got one to fit it any one got any ideas thanks stubby:thumb:
