since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
Wanted, Talbot Express Engine/ Gearbox, Diesel prefered but anything considered.
My son has a Talbot Express Camper with a suspected cracked cylinder head, any info regards source of spares/ engine welcome.

What engine is fitted at present? Looking for a replacement head maybe the lowest cost option. Definitely easier to fit than an entire engine ;)

can you let me know is it the 2.5 td I might be abil to help a have a head that a valve got bent needs new valve stem bu is refubisabill I think free to good home I have another one complete recently refurbed but still on my old engine would have to have a look at it the botum end went on the engine so top end should be ok

to replace the heed it's far easer to take the engine out I have fund if it's the 2.5 td I think the head I have in my garage will fit

Thanks for the input guys.
The engine is an early 2.5D which is overhead valve, not OHC.
The camshaft appears to run through the gearbox bellhousing with a pulley on the end.
This pulley then drives all the pumps etc.
Bottom end is good to a head will fix it, failing that any engine/box that I can graft in will do.
Even a petrol will be better than nothing.
