See many many previous threads - usually caused by it not being built properly - so a proper repair starts underneath.

It's done 5 years so seems to be supported ok. Only tiny cracks.

Where are the cracks, not many fibreglass trays about would be my guess, but if all the "plastics" are a good colour match that would suggest all the same, the other give away is a fibreglass tray would usually be more rigid.

Ours is 11 years !

The support could have rotted due to a small leak. Or just moved.
Only ever used the shower once so unlikely a leak.

But will be needing it for my upcoming 7 week tour :)

If it is plastic it would be a VERY easy repair.. Simply weld the cracks back up.. Any decent soldering iron will do the job a treat, and once finished polish back up

Yup thought of that but maybe a bodge?

Gaffer tape works as well :)

Hokey kokey. Gonna have a stab at this myself. I've looked on Youtube and seen several ways to weld with soldering iron. All my own previous bodges have been none weight bearing, but the shower tray will be

In the past I've melted along the crack and dragged it across in a criss cross type weave. Other ways are shown on Youtube. Some just melt along the crack and then fold in. Some create a channel each side and fold over.

Is there a best way ?

likewise..(y)

there is a small crack near the drain hole in mine, dealer says he will repair by plastic welding, but that means a 120ml round trip..
going to have a go at it myself
