My Dahon folder, brilliant wee bike and essential tools for mortal existence. :)

With 20 " wheels the pannier was too low to fit a ball hitch, clubs may self eject, so a short bungee strap does the job up at the top of the seat stem.

I have a suitable length of drain pipe, end stopped, bungee strap compatible, for baguettes and fishing rod, bottle of wine, or at least three cans/bottles (medicinal necessities).

Anyone got a strap on radar system that picks up castles and blooming churches and automatically sets you on a diversion route ?

May not be legal in Spain though, not sure if that is A frame or not. ;)

It is really for our trip to Bavaria next week, off for three weeks, couldn't go that long without a fix so babies are coming too ! and just in case the available course is a bit of a jog then I'm ready for it. :)

Was your golf that good ? We all have days like that, was out this evening just 9 holes won with a 39 taking handicap in to play I managed to wrench the £1 out of my sparring partners pocket, much to his disgust.

drain pipe
Will do a follow up for you, I was working on the golf aspect tonight. the drain pipe was a simple concept though. Tackle bag/shopping bag on pannier, pipe goes in front of tackle bag and up behind seat. I'll photo in daylight tomorrow. (y) Can't do fishing gear and golf trolley at same time, something has to take priority !

can't see your drain pipe

Just for you, with small shopping bag. When fishing rods, or loosely fitting bottles of plonk, Baguettes, cans of beer etc. are slopping about I use the vans' sponge to take up the slack. (y) Ever tried cycling with fresh bread stick/baguettes in one hand ? I have, I always either crush them or break them, carrier bags, shopping bags are not much better and dangerous ! The pipe is very versatile.
