What Mercedes Have I Got? (1 Viewer)

Morning all, sorry to ask what to some will seem a stupid question

I am trying to upgrade my weight through SV Tech, they have asked what BHP and engine is fitted, suggesting it might be a 518 or 519

I have nothing in my paperwork, can't find anything on any plates and being an A class apart from the Merc badge on the front and back there is no other clue

I am pretty sure it is a Sprinter chassis and has twin rear wheels, anybody know where I can look, my V5 has already been sent to them so the answer is not on there

Chassis was built in 2007, Hymer did their bit in 2008

Anybody know about Mercs please

A Merc dealer should be able to tell you from the VIN plate, or why not contact Hymer there is a contact form on their website.

Do you have the original paperwork from Hymer there should be the Certificate with all the info on .
If not he engine number will help

the original sprinter vin plate will have the max weight on it irrespective of your logbook and I expect it is 4600kgs

David, I love it, little did you realise what a voyage of discovery your quick trip to the weighbridge would entail. Oh yes as to your question I'm completely clueless, but then you probably realised that, we're just happy that you are (physically) safe with your payloads (if not formally yet).

It is the engine detail I now need, got all the weight info, it is actually 5000kg

Thanks for that. I have just rung my independent workshop who has checked on there himself, I now know I have a 518 with 184 BHP
