We are reluctantly selling our beloved Hurricane RV, and needed lots of odd bits & pieces to restore it to its former glory.

These included bits of trim; floor vent grilles (which bright spark decided snappy plastic was a good idea for a walk-on floor vent?); sink fittings, other fiddly little things like cooker grill grommetts. . .and a new slideout awning.

Lindy-C at Stateside Tuning acquired all these goodies for us very quickly, and at a very good price. Stateside even helped us out with RV storage while we went off in our funny little European van to see how small we could live.

So many thanks to Linda & James for all their help.

Hi Keith

Thanks for the link - we may need to expand our marketing. Thanks also to Jim for his suggestion, which we will have a go at.

Glad you've survived the rigours of Africa ok, Keith - looking forward to hearing of your adventures. Is Vellen (sp?) still at the secret site? Or the doughty Linda P and her dog? We must go back. . .

We are currently languishing at a Thameside site near Henley. Due to the vagaries of the credit crunch, we are forced to do a bit of work for a change .

Still, we will have the pleasure of watching Spring arrive here in the home counties, and are looking forward to the hot summer which England must be due by now!

Winter in southern Spain was pretty cold & wet by Spanish standards. Some days we had to wear long trousers!

Hope to see you & Gail somewhen later on.

Regs to both

Bruce

Hi Bruce!

Glad to hear you got back to UK OK.
We left Pinar San Jose last Sunday after booking for next Dec, Jan and Feb!
We're now in Torrox and realise how spoiled we were in Zahora!!:cry:

Off to the secret place in about 3 weeks! :ROFLMAO:

See you on our travels!!:thumb:
Take care

Marie

Hi Keith!

What's the weather like in the secret place? We're on the coast and had our first hot day of the winter today!
We'll be up to "you now where" in about 3 weeks so keep it warm and empty for us!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Marie: Weather changed yesterday from windy to hot - set fair for next ten days with 20+ temps and clear blue skies. Snow on mountain tops and picturesque doesn't do it justice. Big Tapas down the bar and excellent wood-fired meals down the road at the 'Cantina' as we call it.
You know you want to be here :winky:
