Like PVCs the best
we went to see our autotrail at the dealers on friday. it has been in storage with them over winter and hasnt been prepared for collection yet.
the door to the toilet and the door to the cupboard under the sink are both
badly warped ( they were fine when we saw it initially )
anyone any idea what may have caused this? the dealer will fix it but we have to make sure it wont happen again , and isnt symptomatic of a major problem

Can't remember ;)
Hi warping is usually caused by excessive moisture and then heat - on ply doors it is more usual so once it's been replaced I would not worry -but keep an eye on it ;):)

edit as Mo says give it a good damp check -the moisture has got into the van from somewhere

Since 2005
Its normal for panels to warp and swell over winter storage depending on wood quality and how its laminated.
if air can enter the van so can moisture...the air carries the moisture.

And the trick is......open all interior doors and drawers to prevent sticking.

Also look in the wardrobe and see if your fresh water tank is in there. Ours is and the fill on the outside had split the hose leading to the tank the water was going down the side of the hose when filling up and settled in the bottom of the wardrobe where the tank was and warped the beading on the side of toilet door. now fixed thanks to GJH. fun!!! fun!!! fun!!!
