Anyone any experience of this area? Suitable for 7.3 m MH? Currently in Northern Spain and wondering if it would be OK?

There's a campsite at Fuente De, you should be able to squeeze in there.
We visited about 6 years ago in a 6.5m van.

Its next to the cable car and offers good views with no climbing!

During our visit, there appeared to be a couple of larger vans on the cablecar car park.
I can't confirm whether they stayed overnight though!

Yes not a problem for you as said before Fuentes De ok but there are a couple of sites you will pass on the way which are really good and have great views over the area. The cable cable at Fuente De is a must.

The Picos are spectacular and also famous for getting three seasons in a day. Wrap up warm even in August!

Have you been to Le Paz near Llanes. There's a cracking site there overlooking the coast. It's a bit like the Minack in Cornwall the difference being you park in the seats!

The site at Potes is great, and so is the town. Don't forget to order 'mountain stew' in the restaurants there!

Love the Picos Europa region. Last visit 2 years ago, it snowed in June, not kidding. We hotfooted it across Spain to Tarragona.
If you get a chance visit " Guernica" Near Bilbao, where Franco used the Germans and Italians to Bomb his own people and wiped out his opposition.

You will have no problems and the place is stunning. There are campsites, aires and places to park everywhere. Visit riano for one of the best views in Europe, can his for cheese, walk the gorge, do the cable car. Potes has one of the best campsites in Spain. Roads are a little narrow and twisty but in great Nick. All the info you need is on our blog. Www.eamlesstravels.com
Cheers

Went to Portes and stayed for a couple of nights in May it was chilly at night so might be a bit cold now. Well worth the time to get there from the coast and an interesting drive up the valley We were in a PVC and that was tight in places especially off the main road.

You might also want to visit the El Soplao cave system about 35 miles or so south-west of Santander. Makes the Cheddar caves look small. You could probably overnight there as there are no barriers.

We went through the Picos a few years ago in a 7.3m MH. Single deck buses use the main roads so no great issues going through.
