Nearest campsite is Camping Memling, there is a good bus service from near the site into the city centre.

Not long enough!
Aire and campsite same price, but aire much more convenient for location. minutes walk from the town through lovely park.
Did 4 nights there last year.
Aire is on both sides of the small road.
if you go in righthand one, pitches tight.
the left hand side ones are bigger.

1994 and beyond...
We now use Verune as an overnight, free Aire on port....Centre like a mini brugge, with good bars and restaurants.

Speaking as a wild camper we stay at 51.16106 north 3.25828 east. It is about 3 miles to cycle into Bruges.

We tend to use the aire but don't complain about price as find me camping that cheap that close to LondoN or any other British city Where you are welcome and park without issue...

However just a little heads up. ..If you like brugge try Ghent. Another green of a belgium city.... There is an air which is free by a tram station although you would need a bike to cycle in...but age cycling

We have stayed at both Memling and the Aire but much prefer the location of Aire. As has been said left hand side Aire has a lot more space. You will have to get water from RH side but all have electric hook ups.

There is a Barge which serves food and beers within a couple of hundred yards - very convenient when staggering back to Motorhome after sampling some of those lovely Belgian Beers :)

Another vote for the air in Brugge, perfect for visiting the Christmas markets also.

Also a second vote for Ghent. There is plenty of places to stop alongside the canal near the main sports complex with the Eddy Merkcx museum.
