Had a 2005 model, kept that. for 5 years.. Loved it, only changed as secured a brand new 2012 came at the right money, current van past 3 years.
2010 is about the time they droped the rear floor and so later models will have larger locker doors and more storage space. Also should be the 4250kg chassis.
Get a good damp check as there are known issues ( like a lot of vans). Dinette area and windows come to mind...

Funnily enough tonka, the guy told me to check out your video clip on you tube. When I saw your name I kind of guessed it was you. :)

We have a "baby" AT, a 2006 Tracker. For some unquantifiable reason, to me at least, the Mrs loves it more than our other 2 previous vans which were both larger, one older, the other newer. Build quality seems pretty good so far, but we only got it in the autumn. Outside BBQ and shower points are handy (we've not had previously), especially the latter for dirty dogs!!

We have a 06 Apache 700 se - fantastic bit of kit and superb layout. Looked at many before and since and not seen any other that would suit us better. I love the overcab bed with my 4 inch memory foam topper - loads of room on the roof for solar panels and rear U shape.... Excellent van with good loading and towing.
Regards,

Trikeman.

Since the new website began we can no longer see what MH funsters have...Please bring this back Jim.
Click on their name or pic in the blue box and a pop up gives you the members detail.
Think I preferred it when you could just see it when viewing a thread.

Have a look here ... http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/apache-700-se-long-term-review.26246/

We are changing ours for a Scout. Reason - 1. Max weight, we are almost always over when 4 or more aboard, not by very much, but over. 2. The nightly climb over for the toilet not only wakes up SWMBO, but it's now getting awkward with bad knees. 3. Extra tow weight will allow small car on trailer.

We did look around other manufacturers at several shows, and while there were some would meet our layout needs, they were beyond our budget.

We have been very pleased with the support from our dealer, and there is a dealer review in the appropriate section. We dropped the Apache off with them Tuesday last, and went to see the salesman yesterday re collection of the Scout. He said the Apache was immaculate, they don't need to do anything to it. It will be hitting their forecourt very soon.

Perfect family van everything we need,I can't understand how some people have to buy 3 or so vans to get it right ?
Had it 3 yrs nothing broken or fell off seems well put together.

I also miss it, useful when replying to posts .. and certainly more useful than knowing how many 'likes' someone has..

yes, you can, but that box says 'Motorhome Type' .. you see all sorts of answers that tell you nothing, like 'coach built' (aren't they all except PVCs )

would be better if it were Make and Model .. and below the Avatar

We are seriously looking at buying an autotrail apache 700 se 2010...privately, any updated comments appreciated

I to find this a bit frustrating as my interest in motorhomes is what brought me here :)

click on member's name and most just say blandly A Class or PVC whatever....but I notice some do bother to add model...like me!

so the facility is there but members just don't bloomin use it, but agree with Jim better if details on view under avatar

Autotrail. IMO. expensive, heavy, old wood tech. Check weight very carefully to see if practical in use :censored:

And so I have just found out that the u shaped lounge is too short to use as 2 single beds,
What length is the u shaped lounge can anyone tell me please as I don't want to keep pestering the sellers.
I guess I will have to have the overcab bed instead.

Autotrail Navajo 2012. Very disappointed with the build quality - won't be buying another Autotrail. Year 1 hab service: sides had to be resealed and new internal wall board. Year 2 Heiki resealed and rear window seals replaced. Year 3 waiting for parts to reseal side locker and boiler intake.

We have an 06 Tracker and have been very happy with it. We now want to change to a fixed bed and unfortunately the AT FB is too long for our parking area otherwise we probably would have gone for it.

2006 Mohican; first motorhome bought 6 years ago. Never seen anything that suits us better. Solidly built using old wood tech and weighs in at a wacking 3850Kgs when in flight mode. IMO pre 2007 autotrails where the creme de la creme; but I'm biased of course.

Our Autotrail is a 97 Pawnee, love it ,up graded with rear camera, sat nav, motorised satellite TV, solar panels, twin batteries, gas/monoxide detector. top box rails and ladder, running lights, looked everywhere inside and out while up grading and seems well built throughout. 18 years old with 2015 technology.
