assuming of course you use vacuum bags for clothing etc.
How do you vac remove air when in the motorhome?
Hand pump? 12v pump? Connection from the engine vacuum pump !? How ?
Assume we don't carry a 240 volt Hoover in this instance.

We do ours in the house With the Hoover. We only use them for bedding to keep the condensation off so once we've made the bed up we just pop the bedding in the overcab locker during the day.

On and off since 1983
I have a 12 volt Dinghy pump that does the job, but it would need to be a Direct / Crocodile clip connection to the engine battery and then have the engine running during use.

It would blow the fuse in a simple cigar lighter connection.

We stick with large travel sized ones, which you roll, not as effective as vacuuming out but enough just use more, ours easily take a double sleeping bag, or one chunky pillow in each. :) Lin

Almost a Newbie but not quite now.
We picked up a dirt devil hand held vac. off fleabay for a fiver. With an inverter they empty out vacbags completely.

Wonder do all the inflates have the suction capability ?
I honestly never thought about sitting on them !
Have a few items that are bulky and being able to store them in a vac bag would be ideal.

We have the travel ones that you roll up to expel the air, quite easy to do and they come in various sizes so are easier to store than the larger 'vacuum cleaner' type ones. I use them when away for our dirty washing as apart from being able to squish them down they also keep the smell of hubby's dirty socks contained too!
