many many years! since I was a kid
I used to own an OLD bedford conversion from the early 60s just struggling to remember the reg number. was three letters and two numbers

god we had some fun in that van. no toilet shower or heating but then nobody else had such things either so we made do with what we had. wish i still had the van as it would be my pride and joy and preserved for the grand kids

If you ever go up to the monument parking area at St Margarets Bay Dover There is a Ford Thames Motor home /Camper outside one of the houses on the road up. It looks like a total rebuild very smart but must be 1963 or so There is driving around Dover a green Ford Transit Mk1 but it is awfully tatty, registration is E suffix so 1967/8 first ones out on the road. They are a bit like the split screen VW campers iconic if they do not rust away.

I sold my Citroen 2CV to an englishman who lives in France. He contacted me last week as he was having problems with importing it (had it for 18 months but spent most of that time doing it up)
Sent him a signed invoice which he was missing.
He sent me pics of it now, it is 29 year old and was in good nick when i had it, it now looks as it has just come out of the showroom, immaculate.
Wish i still had it.

The plate 92-14-XB is a Dutch plate and the letters XB denote the year it was build, although I do not know which year that was.
