On mine if the 'gates' are left open for a bit the gauge tends to read true, but that's assuming everything is clear inside.

For the future borax and biological washing powder is supposed to help This guy has a lot to say about it https://sites.google.com/site/cbruni/

Buy a few bottles of the cheapest coke/cola empty them into the waste tank and take it for a drive to slosh it about, supposed to clean tank.
Also check connections on sender unit if you can get at them.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
Looks like you have some "crap" stuck inside tank around sensor. As above post state cheap coke and a good drive will sort it. Good excuse for a run out...........

I wouldn't bother.
You get it working today then it's quit again by Monday.
Notoriously unreliable.

Next time why not keep the waste tank valve open at all times and stick a small square of insulation tape over the warning light?

Sorted!

JJ
I would also have to wear ear plugs (audible alarm) and rib protectors (wife's sharp elbows) so thankfully no tape needed just yet. :emo:
