Hi all,
I currently own a Bessacarr E745 Luxury model, he's called Willy & is 12 yrs old.
Last year, shortly after parking up, the glass lid on the sink shattered, still a mystery as to why it did it, but i am now looking to replace the glass lid & have hit the proverbial brick wall, do any of you know where i could possibly find a replacement glass lid for the sink.
Kind regards
Roo

They are based in Kenilworth and are usually at the NEC show if you are going next week. They have a comprehensive catalogue: Caravean Accessories of Kenilworth - CAK

Not long enough!
Make a template with shape and holes out of 3-4mm MDF, needs to accurate though so make sure it fits on your hinges, and then ring around all your local glass companies to get best price(y)

My lid broke when a glass fell from an overhead locker which had been left fractionally unlocked :(.

I got a replacement from O'Leary's for £80; a complete cooker top, with lid, was £120. :(:(:(:(

The suggested DIY option may be worth exploring - Gordon

I suspect this option would be no more expensive than buying the correct spare part. Extra cost over and above that for simply cutting it out will be for the toughening process. Alternatively specify laminated.

Yes that's what I forgot to add, I have no idea how much it would cost, of course if you have a mate who's wife is a mate of the bloke in the Butchers shop who just happens to sell sausages to a Glazier, then Bobs your second cousin removed(y) as it were:)
