I've always fancied walking some of the south downs way.

Does anyone have any thoughts/site recommendations (dog friendly) please?

Cheers

I did a communication support job for a deaf chap that worked in the Ashford/Ashdown Forest on the South Downs- just beautiful spot - and with a Britstop not far away - just perfect!

Thanks Geraldine, I'll have a nosey(y).

Ideally we'd like somewhere that has direct access to the south downs way - we don't know the area at all.

We are lucky enough to live on Ashdown Forest - a beautiful part of the world and the loction of the Winnie The Pooh stories (Pooh Sicks Bridge is a just down the road from where we live)

Debs, are you a Britstops member ?
Living as I do about 7 miles from the start of the south downs way, (southern end), there are no sites that you can get straight on to the walk from, at Eastbourne.
message me, and I may be able to help.............
