35k ten years a go can sell at 25k to 18k .all depends on make .:Doh:

I was offered 62.5% of the new cost of mine in May 08 against a new van.
By late Sept 08 I was offered 52.5% by the same salesman however the van we were part exchanging for was also slightly cheaper.
My own van was just shy of 5 years old when part exchanged in October, I do know the dealership sold the van on with a profit of £4500.

By the time the're 15years old they stop depreciating and start going up again due to inflation (when we have it). Just make sure you keep it long enough.:ROFLMAO:

I bought my van at a year old and was £13k less than the new model which is about the 20% depreciation mentioned in a previous post.
