No better a way than doing something which involves living your whole life 2 seconds ahead of yourself for a week or two!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be an early Kodak colour photo of The Hon Sydney Trousers, (three times removed), and Lady Sybil Mouse-Minge, taken just after their eviction by bailiffs, (one seen behind), from their winter ski-lodge in Holmfirth, about 1956.

Thanks for the heads up, but I think I'll stick with the Spanish sunshine and the Golf.

Minimum clothing and maximum enjoyment.








PS I can see the snow on the tops of the Sierra Nevada from the Golf course, but it's far enough away not to trouble me.

On a more serious note I just tried, for the first time, to use Google to identify this image. Spookily I think it did so. It is the late Shah of Persia and the image appears on this page: Broken Link Removed

There used to be (still is?) skiing in Iran in the mountains above Tehran but I guess the image was probably taken in Switzerland or somewhere fashionable although the soldier suggests it might be Iran after all.
