Off to Spain via Santander on 1st Feb and intend to spend a couple of nights at each of the above. Can anyone offer any advice/comments on the two locations please? Have motorhomed in Spain before but never been to either.

I was going to suggest the camping site at Haro just of the AP68 but if you going from Pamplona to Zaragozza it would mean a slight deviation

Stayed in the campsite at Zaragozza but only for one night as it was a bit far outside of the town and would need to bus in. At the time the town was undergoing lots of renovations so we just decided to move on the next day. Wasn't cheap!

Just about this time last year we stayed at both Pamplona and the Zaragoza municipal on our way across Spain. I don't remember the name of the 3* Pamplona site, it was a strange and best forgotten experience, pouring rain, waterlogged pitches, absolutely deserted. We arrived after dark with the gates open but the reception closed. We parked on a roadway and only saw someone in the morning when they asked us to pay. That was our first night in Spain.
Zaragoza was much better, for a start the weather had improved but the site was much busier and more organised. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I We didn't stay at any aires near there but the other aires we stayed at nearer the coast were all good quality.

We came back from Spain on Sunday and we over nighted at Camping Ciuad de Zaragoza last week and it cost €23-00 for motorhome 2 people and EHU.
Most caravans or motorhomes just over night there on their way from Pamplona to Valencia. We have never stopped at Pamplona as we normally enter Spain via the Somport tunnel

Dont know any site near Pamplona but, last time we were in N Spain in June we had snow in Pecos Europa scheduled for a couple of weeks.
We hot footed to Camping La Mora (ACSI site) just north of Tarragona. Had one of the best weeks ever. Also if you end up near Sitges, they have "gay pride" week sometime in July, just hilarious.

We stayed at the Acsi Pamplona campsite in April and it was closed for renovation (opening again end of June). They did allow us to park outside and provided free EHU.

The reconstruction works seemed to involve providing all weather surfacing for most of the pitches in the form of grasscrete surfacing. So, should be good for next time we pass that way.

The Zaragoza campsite is quite expensive (about 24-25 euros) but they do have free Wi-Fi. The newish development across the road does have a reasonable selection of shops.
