Ive just gained a radio with the facility to play music from an SD card.

Does anyone know how to transfer the music from an i-tunes account to an sd card?

I can only find files that dont work and look too small to me.

I went through a similar exercise (transferring to laptop hard drive rather than SD card but the principle is the same and you might need to do that as an interim). Depending on the encoding of the tracks there may be some conversion to do. As far as I can remember (and I'm a bit hazy because I was following instructions on a web page and didn't write it down) I think it was a case of exporting the tracks from iTunes as albums and then converting using Windows Media Player.

There are several web sites which Google will find with more detailed instructions.

In iTunes, make a playlist of the music you want on the sd card

copy the list and paste into the SD card..

or simply highlight the songs and drag to the card
I'm pretty sure it depends on the format of the iTunes tracks Jim. From memory there are two formats and copy/paste is possible with one format but not the other.

On and off for many years.
Find out which format the radio needs and someone should be able to help you. :)

The files that look too small and don't work might be the files for the track information or even the sleeve graphic.

Put all mine 989 tunes on a sd card last week to play on my new Samsung phone.
Put sd card in a reader and plug into usb on pc then open iTunes on pc and simply click n drag tunes across.
Simples if I can do it anyone can. ;)(y)

Forgot mine are a mixture 50/50 of copied CDs and bought music from ITunes.

Mine are a mixture as well. I found that the iTunes ones were in two different formats.

I think I had to use a M4A or M4P to MP3 conversion program but I can't remember which one because I deleted it from the laptop after doing the conversion and backing up the library because I no longer needed.
