How do I connect a sterling battery master to my existing sterling B2B (1 Viewer)

Could someone please explain in the simplest terms possible how I can connect my sterling battery maintainer to my sterling B2B so that I can use the existing B2B cables to the vehicle battery.
My leisure batteries and B2B are in the garage(Rapido) and the vehicle battery is at the front(4m)away.
If you could show me a diagram(style) would really appreciate it.

On your BtoB you have 2 large reds and 1 large black

Connect the black of your maintainer to the black
Connect the Orange or maybe a Brown? of the maintainer to the red that comes from the starter battery
Connect the Red of the maintainer to the red that goes to you liesure battery.

For your purposes take the auxiliary battery to be your starter battery.

Rapido split charge only works on hook up

So when on hook up the on board charger charges leisure batteries and once full that then tops up the cab battery, and when driving the B2B tops up the leisures once Cab is full?

Be very very careful not to short the terminals on the BtoB (major bang)

When on hook up the mains charger will charge the hab batteries and give (2amps) to the starter battery at the same time.
When driving the BtoB charges the liesure batteries regardless of the cab battery requirements

Hi Bungy yes my van will charge both leisure and vehicle batteries whilst plugged-in(EHU)but when off grid no.
I have an Efoy cell and my thinking was to complete the off grid circuit(so to speak) if I was wilding then if my Leisures went low and not enough solar(winter skiing) then the Efoy kicks in and any excess would be channelled to the vehicle battery.

Thanks for the info, yes your right about hook-up and when the engine running,I wanted to be able to keep some juice going into the vehicle battery whilst parked-up for a few days,i.e.: skiing

Both a Vanbitz battery master and a CBE CSB2 connect in exactly the same way as the sterling.

Andy you have got got me confused, (easy job) I looked up Sterling B to B charger and it came up with a big square lump of a charger with a fan in it 50A, over £300, your illustration looks like what is a "battery maintainer". Is this the same thing just for smaller amperage use, eg in a motorhome.
When we talk about Sterling B to B we/you mean the Sterling battery maintainer ? on its' spec sheet - output amps out - 3A !! ?? is that sufficient ?? part no 12123 ? £62.90 (I never get off this cheap !) When you have a minute, Ta.

They are two seperate items. Steve's question was how to connect one to the other directly to avoid additional wiring.

FYI the best price for this item 12123 is £53.99 delivered. No need to pay more.
The CBE CSB2 does the same thing (priority to Liesure battery) but at 4amps transfer for well under half that.

I have one of these for appraisal now.
First impression is of quality but I do wonder why it is manufactured with 10 amp fuse protection on both +ve's when it is only meant to transfer 3amps.
I will fit soon and see how it compares to the CBE CSB2 that I've used for a couple of years.

Well with a bit of rearranging I have replaced the CBE CSB2 with the Sterling.
I do like the fact that a substantial size of cable has been used (2.5) compared to the CBE
I'll see how it stands up through this year. I don't think the 3 amp transfer will be a handicap (CBE 4amps)
