Hi
Could we ask people's opions on the new Remoska please
Are they really that good as the reviews make you believe ??
Are they really worth all that money ??
Are the new ones better than the older style ??
Thanks in advance !

Hi Tosan, I have just asked SWMBO (Pamelaaar) and she says yes, yes, and yes.
She would not be without hers.

They are that good, I use mine at home too however I think the older model with the glass window in the top was better than the new model. By the way I'm on my third one in 20 years. Go ahead you'll not regret it, I even cook cakes and to do this I use a ring type cake tin so you are sure it cooks right through.
Stews, joints, etc a doddle.

Yep, my other half swears by the Remoska - loves cooking with it at home and away. :xThumb:

We had the original and had it swapped to the new one under the lifetime warranty (although we did agree to put in an extra ÂŁ20 or something - could have made a fuss and stood our ground, but like the product so much decided not to lose sleep over a few quid).

Yes the Remoska is worth it . I had mine for years and did no use it but after finding it in a cupboard finally started to use it and now would not be without it at home or in the MH . It is great for heating readymeals to cooking small quantities and baked potatoes without having the oven on . I am sure it is very economical as well .

Wow many thanks folks for all your replys
Seems you all like them and we should go ahead and get one

So the next question is as there's normally only the 2 of us do we get the slandered size or will we regret not getting the Grand one as there's hardly any price difference ??

Many thanks

That's what I'm worried about !
I mustn't buy anything else that I'm not going to use !
Thanks

If it is just for the two of you.

The standard size will be sufficient. We have a standard size one and would not be withou it.
We use it at Home and in the motorhome.
We have two so we cannot possibly forget to take one with us when we go away.

We have the big one at home and the small one in the van.

Really good bits of kit.

My wife usually does the Sunday roast in the one at home.

Sounds good !
Is yours the bigger one ?

No the standard size, perfect for 2 people and only uses 400w of power from battery's, very important when you are conserving power, I think the previous model (standard) used 480w ????? I think so newer standard one is more efficient with the use of power. Happy cooking mate

We had one of the early Remoska's it shorted and failed, Lakeland were brilliant and replaced it well over a year old. The second one stopped working I dismantled it and found it very badly made. We use a halogen cooker now brilliant about ÂŁ30-00.

Yeah we run it off the inverter curent one is 2000w but the previous one was 600w which ran it easily.
