Right then, I took the plunge and bought them last week. I must confess to being a little bit sceptical about how effective they would be..........

WOW........... they are fantastic! The van was instantly warmer (no more cold draughts when sat in the captains chairs and NO condensation whatsoever(y)(y)(y)

We were in Aberdeen for a week when the night time temperature dipped below freezing almost every night and barely got above 5c during the day.

For anyone with any doubts I can confirm THEY REALLY DO WORK :D

Thank you to everyone who helped me decide to but them. Oh, and I think the design and fit is excellent(y)

They can be dangerous though!
I put ours on last week, when I fitted the drivers door side and shut the door, I trapped my little finger in the door and pulled the finger nail out of the nail bed :crying:
I came out with some words even I hadn't heard of before....
Just be careful with them, they bite

years ago i got my hand shut between the bonnet and slam panel of a car i was working on. took an age to get the numpty that dropped the bonnet without looking to go pull the release lever to get me out. thankfully just bad bruising with nothing broken, but a big lesson learnt.

I find that the outer silver screens work we'll not just for the insulation value
But on the x250 ducato it covers part of the bonnet and allows the water to run off ,Rather than into the engine bay via the front scuttle.so there left on most of the time when standing.

we use the inner for overnight stops and the outer for sites the outer for us really are great in keeping the light totally out and in warmer climes keeps the mh cool
