Did you notice the dates against each outlet, today,.................when the French do consumer stuff it's pretty good.

Most expensive, as they are here, are Autoroutes services but still at around a £1 a litre. Noticeably a little more expensive near ports too.

Mel, I've always thought that Belgium is slightly cheaper for diesel and a bit more expensive for petrol than France, does that still hold?

No not anymore I cant say for petrol.
But diesel over the last few months been about the same as France.
last time I came to the Uk it was cheaper to fill up in France.
at the moment its the lowest price we have seen since 2010.
If this keeps up it wont be worth running on red:sneaky:(only joking)

Diesel €1.11 Murcia,España. Could be 4 year low. Bit too far to fill up from France or Germany, but travellers in Spain might like to know this.

Luxembourg is always cheapest.

We will run out before we get there. Being tight motorhomers, we will push the van 200km to get the cheap fuel!

I want a bigger tank so that I could fill up and go a long way on Lux fuel, but that was because I was always working on UK rip off price, fuel always is my limiting factor.
I notice that we in Dover ALWAYS pay more for fuel that most other places in the area 4-5p cheaper in Canterbury. BUT there are always mugs filling up before they go abroad????????????? and they come back and fill here again before going home, maybe they have a misjudged sense of loyalty as to where they pay the tax.

Why worry about the price of fuel in different countries?
The difference is relatively small and you need to do loads of miles before the savings amount to anything like the biggest cost of motorhoming.
Most motorhomes depreciate by at least 3 grand a year and people worry about a few cents off a litre of diesel!!!

I am more concerned with having a good time and travelling where we want to, not worrying about fuel prices. If you need it, just get it!

YEH BUT! YEH BUT! I pay out and see the amount on fuel, I do not see the depreciation sneaking off, it is paid for.
Everytime I fill it is a £100 on fuel. or a weeks pension money, nearly.
