It may be of interest to others. ALDI have just reduced the price of their remaining stock of Multi Purpose Platform ladders. The best price I could find on the net was about £59 plus carriage. They are ideal for cleaning the van via the platform part of the ladder.

Aldi are selling them @ £39.99

More than toes wet now!
I know they are cheap and cheerful but just picked up one of their 18v cordless drills for less than a tenner.

Well I can't find the ladders anywhere on their website (apart from googling a September offer). Do you just have to camp out in one of their stores? Is it just pot luck and they aren't widely advertised?

Noticed one in ours last night - but then they had a whole load of stuff marked down

Wingman. Yes it has been on since the end September. I phoned their H/O who helped me by checking some of the local stores in my area and finding what stock they had.

Hope this helps, if you source them they are an excellent deal at £39.99 (they were on at £49.99 which was a good price)

Thanks for your explanation colyboy. Never thought of phoning the HO. I don't routinely go into their stores for any shopping, so I guess it's my fault that I'm not up to speed with their deals! Thanks for the heads-up though.

Even when I DO go in store, I've found that deals simply fly off the shelves. There's a really affluent area near me and I've been really surprised how even there, the deals disappear - pronto!
