I am taking delivery not until April 2015 long time to wait, of Rapido 7065ff new and I know it doesn't come with a spare wheel and was wondering if anyone know if an alco under slung wheel carrier can be mounted or any alternatives so one knows about. Up to now we have been caravaners.
All help and suggestions would be most welcome

I've taken mine off from underneath, and put it in the underbed locker because;
I found it difficult to check the Tyre Pressure, because of the Towbar,
and I have too much respect for the Breakdown Fellas, who, I will call in the event of getting a puncture. I know that I would not want to go grovelling around underneath, and if I wouldn't, then I wouldn't expect them too either.

If your Alko extension behind the axle to the rear has nothing there then it is most likely possible to fit the alko drop down wheel carrier. My chassis stops straight after the axle as I have a garage so I made my own to mount midship. A major consideration is the WEIGHT you will add.

A quick search tells me you have a rear bathroom like the 7099 and pretty sure your grey waste tank is after the axle like my 7090
so the Alko drop down is not an option.
This is the 7099 I did recently

My French friends found a link to the ALKO carrier. As you will see from the picture it will only fit as illustrated.

Hi good choice of motor home, I have the 7065ff design edition 63 plate, but because of the alko chassis there in no room for a spare, the garage is under the bathroom and as Techno100 said behind that is the waste tank, i do have a spare but only carry when abroad, all my tyre's have got puncture safe in them. jf you need any info on the 7065ff always willing to help if i can
Like Techno100 set up will have to see what i can do interesting to know the cost of fitting

I found it difficult to check the Tyre Pressure, because of the Towbar,

I have been using something similar to THIS for many years without any problem.(y)

Mine is clipped onto the towbar so no need to crawl under m/h to check pressure ..... The very nice RAC man was quite happy to get under to remove the spare when we had a flat.:)
