Ticks my boxes as well, Dawn. My only concern would be the real life payload as Rapidos are notorious for not having much "upstairs". Cheers

Good thought David I'll have to check that out. I'm slightly dubious of this dealership too.

Don't know the model but so much looks the same as mine. Agree with the payload had to get mine uprated to 3850, a £200 badge job. The one big drawback I can say is if your hot water goes they have to take the kitchen out. Cost £700 on mine so pleased it was under warranty. Beyond that their build quality seems to be in the top bracket.

Nice van good layout. Front axle is likely to be on the limit with full water full diesel gas and yous too. Rapido are well balanced front to rear on the 7 series but they do have no scruples about supplying the 3 litre auto on 15" wheels. If serious definately insist on actual axle weights as it is before you start.

EDIT we are 1950kg loaded at the front but we have 16" and 2100kg front axle

We are leaving early doors tomorrow for Eastbourne, so I'll give them a ring.

Don't really want to drive for 4 hours to find out it stinks of smoke or wet dog!

I also want a Smallbone kitchen, neither is likely to happen anytime soon.
So many things I want, I can't have........ The Pilote was a bit of a bonus. We love it;)(y)

Bearing in mind Andy's post, much depends on if it is on 15" (light chassis) or 16" wheels (heavy chassis and many more options)

The one in the link is on 15" which is why I mentioned it

Easily distinguished because 16" have wheel bolts through the trims.
15" are concealed behind the trims
Simples!

I guess that "16" on the tyres gives a clue as well........

Sorry, Andy! ;)(y)

I believe Rapido have withdrawn the 70+ range due to corrosion with the aluminium panels. There is a thread worth reading on the Rapido section in Motorhome specific forum.
Worth reading
