Jim,

That's really useful info. I am trying to pursude SWMBO that we should consider taking the RV to Europe, but not having much success at present. She likes to know exactly where she's going and that the destination site will be large enough for our 32' coach. This will do much (I hope) to pursuade her that not all sites are the size of a postage stamp and that we are unlikely to get stuck with nowhere to park

As the Tesco advert say - Every Little Helps

Thank you

Far from it, love Wales, Pembrokeshire in particular, toured all over in my tugging days, but as said in previous posts, the UK in general isn't motorhome friendly and that combined with iffy weather doesn't make it very attractive.. that also includes my home country which you will notice has only a few locations ..

Hi Mick

It's now being added to by other members from RVFulltiming, so I can't take all the credit.

Glad you found it useful,

Jim & the other contributors of the RV friendly Google map this information is fantastic and if the cost you paid could be added then others will know if they are being ripped off when they try and book on a particular site on the map:thumb:

Thanks Mick .. most of my locations are French aires, quite a few are free, so no chance of being ripped off .. :roflmto::roflmto: on the fee paying aires the price is always shown prominently, usually at the entrance..

The commercial sites listed will have their fees on the web and books..:thumb:

Hi Mark

No new link and I can't load either, must be a problem with Google maps.. but I'm on a 3g connection and they are often slow to load..

I'll keep trying

Hi

It's very strange, Olley has the same problem, looks like it's been hacked, I can't get into edit it either.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible..

Well Jim (Scotjimland) has very kindly and unselfishly provided both this forum and several others with a very useful aid to American or large motor-home owners, I only wish we were over there to add a few.

Now if EVERY large or American RV owner would contact Jim with just one campsite that they can vouch for it would be fantastic.

However as a veteran RVer once told me RV owners are very selfish and keep the location of RV friendly camp grounds close to their chest..........now lets prove that veteran RVer WRONG

Over to the RVers of the UK & Europe:whistle:
