Domestic Fridge Alarm (1 Viewer)

Hi guys
Our Domestic fridge alarm has suddenly started bleeping for 15 seconds every 2 minutes
No warning lights - just the alarm

The door appears to be shut properly

The handbook suggests that this alarm is to tell you that the interior light is on.
When I put my finger in the door lock slot the 4 LED lamps don't go out fully, they just go dim. I've now disconnected the power supply to the light and the bleeping has stopped

Looks like the led light is condensated so I'm leaving it to dry out before reconnecting

Appreciate any suggestions as this bleeping is driving me MAD!!

Thanks
Robert

Sorry for any confusion
Disconnected light after first post, so edited post accordingly
Has been silent since, but light is disconnected
Will connect light again in the morning once fitting has dried out fully

ok.. thanks.. that explains..

Hopefully when the light has dried out it will be fine.. but raises the question.. how did it get condensation inside.

Update - it appears that the door lock / light housing unit was fitted out is square which meant that when the door was shut it was actually being held slight open causing condensation to form on the led light - which in turn caused a short circuit
Twisted the fitting slightly and hey presto!
Thanks for you help guys !
