Hi Top
Exp
Since being 9 years old.
Hi,

Has any got any recommendations for a campsite that will accept a small Camper Van around the fort william area of Scotland?

I fancy a trip up there in early December, but most of the websites I have been on for nice campsites seem to be shut around then? (Glen Nevis was my first choice)

Thanks!

Jonathan.

I wonder why..:roflmto:

Fort William is a wet place at the best of times, in December it will be bleak .. with little to do unless you like paddling... for better weather and more to do I would head for Aviemore.. great C & CC site at Loch Morlich which is open all year.. :thumb:

Whatever you decide, have a great time..

do you actually need a site, wild camping is free and quite legal in Scotland. Have a great trip and bring back some great photos. Don't forget Whiskey, dumpling and Edinburgh ginger cake oh and did I mention whiskey, hee hee

I wouldn't mind wildcamping, but my girlfriend is a scardycat!

She would be afraid of vampires, axe murderers and werewolves, even though shes 27. :)

haha :ROFLMAO:
