Glad to hear that.
We have only just been away for the first time proper.
to the White Swan, Newton, North Yorkshire Moors.
anyone with any good recommendations.
We prefer not to cook at night so like a good pub locally (Walking distance)

West Stockwith.
Pub called white hart, real ale , and very nice it is too , has it's own micro brewery. Good pub grub.
Campsite just down the road.

Pickering /Whitby road
Fox n rabbit very nice pub grub, good guest beers on.
CL on farm at back or cc at side of pub

Pickering town
Spice4u Bangladeshi curry house , fab curries.
Various campsites and CL 's on outskirts or the "Aire" at the back of the antiques centre (10min walk) is only £10 a night.

Hawes curry cottage in Hawes. Bangladeshi again. Though not as good as spice 4u in Pickering , the village of Hawes is better and the local walks IMO.
Campsite on outskirts of village

These are regular haunts for us if we just want a quick night away a nice meal and then leave the next afternoon.

Were starting our PVC once we've got our new peugot boxer lwb panel van.
It's due November. Ralph's like an expectant dad!
