Because it's a Mac.

17-inch MacBook Pro.The mac operating system multitasks far more efficiently and is the de-facto standard used by Graphics professionals.

I thought there was only 2 types to choose from.

A laptop that is a Mac or a laptop that isn't.:ROFLMAO:

I have a Mac 17" Power Book G4 , OS 10.5, it's getting a bit long in the tooth but no problems with it EVER.. and it's been in constant use for nearly 4 years.

In Jan. this year I bought a Sony TZ21WN/B, 11" ultra mobile with Vista Business .. primarily for using when going walkabout .. It's a fabulous lappy, I love the Sony quality and the built in connectivity but it suffers from having a bloated operating system.. it really slows it down.

So as far as 'not going wrong' there is no contest, it is my Mac.. :thumb:

At home I have superfast homebuilt PC in a large tower and along with two 21 inch screens it probably weighs around 25kg. So with laptops I like to go the other way, and a good quality ultra-portable is the way to go.

At the moment the best ultraportable is this the Levano Thinkpad, nothing else come close. Not even a Mac :winky:
