On a recent trip one of the window blinds end piece broke and made a slight tear to the blind materiel as well so the blind will not stay down (closed). Does anyone know how to remove the whole blind from the window so that I can look at a repair it is a seitz blind with net behind and both pull down from the top.
thanks in advance for any help.

Is this any use to you???

On the seitz blind you will need to remove the whole blind from the wall and remove the blind and roller from the housing. If you turn the shaft clockwise then the spring should tighten. if the spring does not tighten then it it likely that you will need to replace the spring, our ref. 135876.
When you have tightened the spring you need to fit the tensioning bush, our ref. 124190, and replace it in the housing without losing the tension (this is fun). In future you should be able to tighten the spring, if necessary, by using a flat blade screwdriver inserted into the tension bush without removing the blind from the housing.

you need to remove the inner trim and unscrew the frame. Do make sure the window is supported outside or it may well fall out.
It shouldn't to be honest as it will be bonded in .....i just removed and resealed all my seitz windows yesterday and had to prise them off the bodywork as theyre stuck with mastic

Don't know wether yours is the same as ours, but it has a silver flat bar at the bottom and ours ripped off all along and the blind went up and all tension gone but if you get the bar off , it only slides off then fold the blind around the thin plastic thing and slide it on again then take the the cover off the top of the blind and tension it up again with screw driver, no need to remove it.
Probably not very clear but if you want more info just ask(y)
