hi...we are elle and paul and we need loads of advice and help as we are rv virgins....we own a 1988 gulfstream 2000 5.6 puller in which we are emigrating to sunni zante.....one problem is getting lpg in greece so we wondered if we could have the lpg tank removed and have e bottle system similar to charavanz...cheers...lots a love...keep trukkin :ROFLMAO:

In simple terms Yes provided you are refering to the gas for cooking/heating etc, I would think twice possibly three times before removing the tank though as it may seriously afect the resale in the future
Far better to buy what is called an Extenderstay kit, when fitted it allows you to conect a gas bottle to Extend your stay as it were so in therey you could use that all the time just leave you main gas tank full as back up, and use that when a bottle runs out

hi geo....so does lpg come in a bottle? we really ave not got a clue!!!....or would it be other gas cos the problem is lack of lpg in zante where we be heading for our sunset ride...cheerz again from elle and paul...:Doh:

Yes folks all bottled gas is LPG (Liquid Petrolium Gas) there are two main types of LPG
"Propane" (better for winter or cold climate use) Calor Gas red bottles in the UK
"Butane" Calor Gas blue bottles in the uk.
In europe they use a mixture of both so any bottled gas will do what you want it to, what you may have trouble with is getting different adapters for the country you buy your gas in
So just to remind you all bottle and garage pump gas is "LPG" and it will be available in Zante in one form or another in bottles if not at garage pumps:thumb:
