i read rencently that some body had purchested a cruise control system for £50

any ideas who it was and if its any good

Hi Ollie I cannot remember the company that sells this one, but what I can tell you is that it is NOT a proper cruise control.

From what I remember of the post it is basically a cable that is attached to the throttle lever in the under bonnet area with some kind of electronic locking/release control.

It basically works, but does not keep your speed at what ever you set it at as in a proper cruise control. It only keeps the revs at what ever setting you have set it at.

I am sure someone will be along and give you a link to the original post.

Also I think it can only be used on older pre fly by wire throttles.
