Hi
I've noticed that Frankia offers different models such as Comfort Class, Royal Class, Holiday Class and Luxury Class to name but some.
But what's the pecking order of basic to top marque/spec?

I've tried google but only seem to bring Frankia's 2014 line up which is Excellence & Luxury Classes.

The MH's I've seen are from 2007/2008/2009 years.

Any Frankia owners out there in the know?
Thanks!

Royal isthe top class , you dont see any around. Then luxury, then I think its comfort and finally holiday.
Although you can sometimes find a lower class van with extras added which brings them up to the next class.

Hi Snowbird

Is the Frankia one on the Merc chassis with the tag/tandem axle.
It is indeed a Mercedes chassis. Frankia bought out RMB several years ago and have continued building the marque by special order. I believe the chassis is RWD with a tag third axle added.

Thought so, I don't really see the point of that axle layout as you have 4 wheels at the back but only two are driven less than ideal in a wet field.

I would have thought much better traction than a FWD tag as all the weight as on the drive axle. It is a 6 ton chassis, and with that length would require a tag.

Agree, better than FWD and don't know what length but I would think it would go on a 4 wheel single axle, possibly Merc don't have a heavy enough chassis on the sprinter now. You can go to over 9 metres on the IVECO 4wheel axle.

I think the 840/8400 will be long enough for our needs - there's got to be a limit put on what my missus plans to take!
