Anyone crossed the mountain road from Applecross, over Torridon Mountains? We did it in our 7m Iveco daily conversion. OMG. a real 'eek' moment especially on the three dog legs during aftermath of hurricane Bertha!

We've done it twice in our 7.5 metre Bessacarr E795 - my husband loved driving it - I never want to do it again. What a beautiful part of the world though isnt it?

Yup, we've done it both ways ... it's a breeze compared to some of the stuff we've done abroad though!

Another nice one to tune up your botty cheeks, Banchory to Fettercairn over the Cairn of Mounth. Wildcamp at the bottom (Fettercairn side) at the "Clatterin brig". One of the first roads to get blocked when there is a sniff of snow. :)

Did it in June this year, we went in the opposite direction. Great fun with glorious views.
Wouldn't hesitate to do it again, we're only 6.34 metres tho.

Yes did it in July with our 7.5m Chausson. Was very interesting when doing the hairpin bend section and coming across a council truck and about 20 vehicles stuck behind it heading into us. As we had to stop to let it pull into one of the wide sections on the bend a lunatic behind me decided he was not waiting around and overtook .

As you can imagine this causing some interesting reactions from all around, mainly abusive I have to add, however I had to laugh as one solo lady camper driver took to blessing herself as she rounded the corner. :D

Still the views are sinply stunning so well worthwhile and as I always say to the management team sitting in the passenger seats, theres no rush as we are always on holiday when in our Motorhome (y)

Did this a month ago & didn't think it was at all bad. Mind you it was 'foggy':LOL: Or as the Scotts call it 'Harr'
