Hello fellow members, we have just joined after being told of the site by Andy (at least I think that was his name!!) Anyway he'll know who he is, (you stopped to chat with us in our Hymer parked on the high street in Polegate a couple of Sundays ago). We are two, who totally love getting out n about in our beloved Hymer and wish it was full time really. We would love to step out of the rat race and go full time on wheels, wintering in a wood cabin with a log burner for heat, total bliss. As it is, we are happy to get away when we can and just love the freedom being on the road brings. Meeting new folk, listening to and telling tales sat round the camp fire is total heaven to us. Then there are those quiet trips when its just us two and the scrabble board or a good book, exchanging the noise of daily life for that of birdsong and the wind rustling the leaves on the trees. This sums us up really, so hi to one and all

Welcome HymerwritesWe2, from another southerner.
At the risk of boring everyone else, please allow me to introduce you to the rest of the nutters.

There is a Tim and a Kym and a Lyn and a Jim
Twelve Johns’ two Pips and a Jon,

There’s a Kris and a Chris and a handful of Griffs,
An old Mo, two Joys and a Ron.

We’ve got three or four Smithies, one soggy, one ShiftZZ,
Two Geos’ three Karls and a Ray,

I checked with the list and unless I am pissed
we’ve even got two tame JJ’s. (Jersy Jo)

We’ve got a Minx and a Sedge, Two Carols and a Reg,
A Freddie and a Frankie as well,

There’s Scotty and Sam and Jake and Siobhan
Lets not forget Ash or Mell.

I forgot about Lynn, Brisey, Big Jim
and Sian and Katy too,

Amanda and Phil and lets not forget Bill
Roger, Peter three Pams, more still.

We’ve got Ivy and Ken, Pat and Big Ben,
Brian, Julian, Grenville and Terry

Rick, Dick and big Mick, overlooked Nick
And very nearly Graham and Gerry

I’ve found seven Robs and four Eddies
A donkey called Neddy, two Trishs’, a Pauline and June

One Rangi, five Pauls and a Big Jim who calls
Bacon Sarnies will be served up soon.

I’m getting phone calls galore
Funsters want to read more
And others who don’t give a damn
So just for you Terry using Isle of Wight Ferry
I’m adding your lovely wife Ann.

I could go on all night but you’d all get uptight
And ban me under Rule ONE

Well for you I’ve got news,
You can gather your views and stick ‘em right up your
(stuck for a Rhyme here, need Funster Help)

Hi Andy, Will defo give you a shout, just back from the Dorset Steam Rally (mud fest) and about to leave for Scotland so we'll make a plan for coffee when we get back. Will have to meet up in the vans so we can see your new baby. Happy travels. Jules and Bill

Hi guys, welcome!
We are in Eastbourne too, (Bridgemere area) handy for getting to Folkstone for the tunnel to Calais, then toss a coin for left or right and off we go - usually right these days as we have also bought a chalet in the Somme bay area. But we still use the motorhome and just love driving around France.

We live in Eastbourne too, but today we are in Carcassonne, tomorrow in Mont Louis (pyrenees)

Blimey,.......guess us Eastbourne and area Funsters ought to arrange a meet sonewhen. :)

Sounds like a plan to us (y)
