Are any Funsters using a
Cello C20234F 20" led tv combo.
Just looking and wondered if anybody got one and it performs.
At the beginning of this year I bought a Avtex L186DRS but sent it back because we didn't like the picture quality.

Oddly enough we got the avtex having looked at the cello and deciding the picture was better...... The default settings are a bit garish but on satellite the Avtex is superb. Glad we spent the extra - our old 16" avtex one is still in use as kitchen TV

We have the 19" and it is ok but the sound quality is tinny and the remote always feels like it needs new batteries oh and I have never seen anything slower to re tune. That apart we use it almost daily without issues

Getting better
We have a Cello 19'' I think that's the size. It's ok for the van and the money. The sound as others suggest is a bit thin, but that's a problem with all small tv's as the speakers are so small.
The main issue is the narrow angle of view, if your eyes are not within the ideal angle range the picture quality deteriorates quite quickly.

We have a 19" Cello in the MH, though it is rarely used as we don't usually watch TV when we're away. I would echo the remarks above about the thin sound and the narrow viewing angle, but it's a pretty good TV for the price and a lot cheaper than the Avtex.

We have a cello and no complaints good value for money. No problems watching from the hab or from the bed. Not tried Avtex so cannot compare.

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
Ordered a Cello tv, advert states brushed metal finish(so silver).
When it arrived its an "Enox" in black, looks the same except for the badge.
What is the legal position? I am concerned about the 2 year warranty as Cello are UK based & Enox is German. I have e mailed the seller (Micom) but as yet no reply.
Other than that it looks good

Think you will find that Enox & Cello are two parts of the the same company - Enox actually get better reviews for their products online than Cello! We nearly bought one but only 1 year warranty so went with Finlux with 5 year (optional extra) instead.

Thanks for that. Problem is the warranty, worried it might have to be sent back to Germany if it goes faulty.

We have the 20" C20234F, reason we did not get the AVTEX was the largest screen we could get was 18", but we could fit the Cello 20" in and we did not need Sat receiver in the TV. It was cheaper as well. Picture is good, it all works, quality is better than expected. So far cannot fault it.

One feature it does not have that the AVTEX has (I think) is a built in FM Transmitter meaning you can play the audio through the Cab media unit and speaker, probably a bit of a gimmick!

We bought the 12v adaptor off ebay for the 12.00, the Cello supplied one adds about 40 pounds!

nilfg, thanks for your reply. The newest Avtex don't have the FM transmitter.

had to return our Cello under warranty; 6 weeks old picture failed.

good points are; Cello arrange courier collection in a protective case. got it back fixed within 8 days.

not so good points; remote playing up since had it back , not confident its going to last the course particulary the poor sound quality
