Don't know about Omnistor awning but I had to change my Fiamma a couple years ago due to wind damage on my F45Ti and bought a new F45S, I found the build quality not as good on the new one.

I think the storm strap fittings are better on the Omnistor.

In Spain a few years ago quite a few awnings "flipped". They all had storm straps and every one I saw was a Fiamma.

Maybe they were all hopeless at fitting the straps, but it was noticeable.

Omnistore for quality every time. As it says at the bottom of my posts. Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten. Have owned vans over 20 years old with original Omnistore awnings.
