That's worth noting.
We go to De Gouden Poort which we find convenient for the site. The last time we were there (May) cost about €35. We can book by email ( in English) which we find handy and they're very friendly.

We visited a vet in Ypres a little while ago. I have copied an earlier post for details:-

De Gouden Poort

Goudenpoortstraat 1

A very modern group practice close to the centre of town. It was a little difficult to find and not obviously a vets - it looks like a garage with indoor parking but there is a ramp up to the first floor just inside. It's clear to see if you google street view the address or look at the slide show on the website. MH Parking is possible on the Leopoldlaan opposite the ramparts, 5 - 10 minute walk away across the footbridge.

We saw Dr. Francis Vandecaveye, a young chap who spoke excellent English. We walked in and made an appointment the day before. Looking at the website the opening times appear to be mon - fri 08.30 - 19.00 and sat 08.30 - 12.00.

We paid 26 euros for 2 border collies and provided our own Milbemax - one of our cheapest vets so far!

Can you elaborate on the camp site a wee bit, .
The key Ypres site is the Jeugstadion site . It has different sections with different prices: a tourist area which has more space to spread out, an aire where motorhomes have parking space, a tent area and even a few wooden chalets. All the areas have access to simple but clean toilet facilities and showers. There is free wifi near the reception -or further away if you have a booster.
I think the aire is going up to about €15 next year.
Its a comfortable, small site rather than all singing and dancing but the best bit is the nearness to the town. The Menin Gate is only about 10 minutes walk away and it's easy access to a range of places in Ypres and out in the surrounding countryside. Bikes are great transport here and they hire them on site. There was an interesting thread on here not long ago which highlighted some of the places to visit. We had a very enjoyable steak in Old Toms in the main square.
It will be busy over the centenary obviously. One advantage is that you can book by email including the aire. I would be wary of turning up on spec at the moment. There is a complicated entry procedure at the best of times. Having said that there is also "wild camping" on the road next to the moat. There are marked bays but no facilities, that's quite popular.
The town and the site are amongst our favourite destinations. I think the history has a magnetic attraction. We'll probably go back again next year.
