Okay folks some nice person (who will hopefully be caught because we are now checking through our CCTV) has written the word rhyming with grunt on the side of our white panel on the motorhome.

It written in green thick marker pen of some type - an a puce green at that.

Any sensible suggestions as to how we go about getting it removed would be greatly appreciated otherwise you will all be viewing it at stratford

Greetings,

SWMBO's dad was a panel beater, spray painter of the old school (could make a car wing out of a piece of flat 18 gauge) and he used cellulose thinners to get rid of anything like that.

If that doesn't work look out for 'Graffiti remover' (just checked, there are loads on the market.)

I would suggest that you get the paint out of the Sun ??? so to minimise it baking on, but try cellulose thinners first.

if all else fails T cut will take it off with ease, along with any surrounding polish and wax. make sure you rewax the area when done, or better still use a silicon resin like MER. any future grafitti will be even easier to remove

I was just about to suggest this as well. We had a similar experience a few months back (random graffiti, not specific words like you) along with our neighbour's white van - T-cut took it straight off both vehicles :thumb:

its likely that somebody has treated the van to a coat of silicon resin then. makes life so much easier as the dirt and any graffitti wash off the super smooth surface:thumb:

Hi again,

So I knew about cellulose thinners, Yorkshire Pudding knew about WD40, lesleyjean offered toothpaste? (who'd have thought of that one!!!, The Big One suggested T Cut, and bill the drill gave us meths/ (for non medicinal use.)

What a wonderful Forum this is. We've all learned something and Ourcampersbeentrashed has errr "Notbeentrashed":thumb::thumb::thumb:

it was Friday so the rest sorted me::bigsmile:
What a waste of single malt - couldn't you just drink it and breath on the white board? :ROFLMAO:
