Just been in the RMB power station and what do I find in there...two battery chargers.
One is a Calira Sealine Ladeautomat LG627-DS/IU
The other a Calira Elektroversorgung EVS 30/30 DS/IU

They both seem factory fitted and are all wired in, so what would be the idea behind that ?.

On our first new van we specified an extra battery and with it came an extra charger, perhaps it for fast charging but not sure.

The chassis batteries are 24 volt and the habitation batteries are 12 volt. Its a possibility thats the reason for the two, but I have never come across this before.

I suppose they may be wired into 24 battery in series, with a separate take off on one i=of them for the 12V? Sounds a bit of a clumsy way to do it though.

I agree, it is a strange way of doing it, but why would they use two different models of charger.

If its anything like Schaudt the main one does the charging and distribution of 12V to various circuits whereas the other one is just an auxiliary charger that plugs into the main one and is controlled by it. Both the same makes so I suspect that may be the same with yours.

Found Broken Link Removed and this for you

That seems feasible as they are plugged into each other :thumb:. Am off to the hospital now for another small op. When I return I will take a photo and post it. Hopefully this will confirm your suspicions. Many thanks for the input :thumb:.
