Can't see why not as it's entry by barrier and pay at machine on exit.

Is it likely to have any restrictions re arrival time? We're also expecting to arrive around mid-night.

None whatsoever, It's a very large gravelled area ! You could miss the entrance in the dark however !:Doh::Doh:
Get the co-ordinates from the aires book and then look at Google Earth !

You could always try Gournay-en-Bray (49.480631,1.72586) an open carpark type Aire next to the mayor's garden and close to the town centre. A quiet place, we have used it a few times. Parking, water and grey/black dumping are free.

Yes its a brand new aire, 12 Euros a night though and its barrier controlled on payment.
The site next door is 14 Euros and very nice but you wouldn't get access at that time.If you have the acsi book just use the coords as the Aire is just before it.

Thanks for the info. We've used a few aires in the past but wanted to be certain that we would be unlikely to have a problem getting a space as I would be trouble if we couldn't ....

It is getting popular and if you are going at a busy time there may well not be a space if you arrive very late. Good aire but quite expensive, although the E12 gets you electricity and wifi. If it is full the sign at the front will say "Complet" (and I think the barrier will nt open.

In that case you can drive down the road about the 2 miles to the Aire that has already been mentioned at Mesnieres. By the way the LeClerc supermarket mentioned is about 200yards from the Neufchatel aire.

Does anyone know if the aire at Neufchâtel-en-Bray is open for late arrival.. (midnightish)

Yes, it has a Card System for paying on entrance to raise barrier (that was last May when we were there) however, why not go on their website via Google and ask Francis (Co-owner) he will be happy to help.
We will be there again June 13th - 16th on our way to Toulouse.
Happy motoring.

We visited the aire in September 2013 and March 2014. Both times you did not pay on entry, you just got issued a ticket automatically. When you took the ticket from the machine the barrier went up and let you in. However to get out you had to validate the ticket by paying the amount due (same as for many car parks nowadays. Payment was by credit or debit card in the machine.

This means that once you were in with the motorhome you could not get out of the main entrance/exit road without paying. May be a problem for those with a towed car that they want to use to do site seeing. However pedestrians, bikes and motorbikes could get out without going through the barrier.

Forges Les Eaux is easy access and no issue arriving late. Aire is opposite the municipal campsite. Currently 6.77€ a night with electric and water.
