Hi I'm after a price for a tv aerial supplied and fitting to our motorhome. Needs to be good quality to pick up freeview as we are fed up of not getting a signal when we are away. We are near Huddersfield thanks

Greetings Hudds,

Have a look at the thread titled,"Tve Aerial as well as Dish?" (There IS a spelling mistake in there. I haven't done it),further up the threads.

It might be just what you are looking for instead of those bulky jobbies.

Regards

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Hello I bought a status aerial on eBay for £5 ( the one with the metal fins down both edges ) fixed it to a extendable paint roller Handle from Wilco's another £5 roughly,a couple of cable ties to fix it to the bike rack and just twist position to suit!
Before this I had a flying saucer type aerial that was a waste of space,on my new budget set up I simply feed through the window to the back of the telly and close, gives a weather proof seal and never been unable to get all my channels plus all the free view junk! From the west coast isles in Scotland to the east coast fens!
Keep it simple and you'll be surprise, I'd thought about sat dishes etc but at great cost and only needed if you want UK tv abroad
