Any one know a source of a 'bump stop' rubber strip for the 'folded over' type glass hob cover? There is a channel under the lip for a rubber strip to fit. Ours has gone AWOL!

If your not successful in sourcing one, why not try running a thick bead of mastic into it and let it cure before closing the lid, I’ve used blobs of mastic as bump stops on a few things.

Eight years but ten years tugging in an earlier life
I have recently bought two rubber stops for our motorhome cooker from Waudbys.

www.waudbys.co.uk

Different to your needs but helpful people, considering it was just two small buffers.

Hope this helps.

get some Sugru - www.sugru.com - it's like a malleable rubber compound that hardens on drying and great for making small bumper stops if you can't find any to buy. moulded to fit whatever you want really - lots of ideas on their website
