I am contemplating having a tow bar mounted mobility scooter rack fitted, so far I have only really found two companies that make them, i.e. Armitages Trailers up in Ferrybridge, Yorkshire, and Easy Lifter, in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

I would obviously like to know if any of you had, had dealings with either of them and what your thoughts are, or do of you know of any other companies that make them, preferably in the Derby, Notts, Leicester, Staffordshire areas.

You need to check axle weights and the overhang length of your van...
Some vans just cant take them so do a bit of research first and go get your van weighed so you can see what capacity you have..

From what little i have seen the Easy lifter looked the best bet
Just be aware that a ?? Kg scooter hung 3 ft off the back will have a multiplying effect on the weight it places on the rear axle
Easy lifter should be able to tell you exactly how that works and what it will be when their unit is used

Thanks for that, but it's already been done using Armitages Excel formulas.
