Silly Hymer question. Only 2 days until the big depart so we are loading the last of our belongings and filling up with some water etc. Daft question but to draw the water through to the taps do we have to have gas running to the boiler? It sounds a bit of a blond question but because you draw water through to the cold taps first and then to the hot do we need to have the boiler on and fired up or is it just a case of drawing water through the system and no gas is needed? oh:

As above - no gas, just run the cold first until water comes out then swing the mixers to hot until you get an even flow.

Make sure the frost stat valve is closed on the boiler or you’ll pump your water onto your drive as night time temps have been low recently.

As said above run water through both taps but don't turn boiler on until you have water running smoothly through hot tap.

Sorry Manic, but the Truma C or Combi system is designed to operate, whether there is water in the boiler or not. Priming the cold system before the hot system is correct, but what would you do, if you had the heating already on and then wanted to fill your hot water tank? Would you turn your heating off first, before filling?
