Bridgnorth Rally short notice would there be any interest 16th May (1 Viewer)

Jim mentioned local rallies so i have started putting the feelers out to see what would be available in Shropshire. As some of you are aware we were supposed to be touring Ireland during May but due to family comitments we are having to stay local so have not booked any shows or other meets.
I have been in touch with a site in Bridgnorth well within short walking distance of the town
They have a slot but it is very short notice and i know it clashes with Newbury and Gails birthday bash. it would be 15th to 19th May, price would be around £6 pupn No marqee allowed but there is a club on site with entertainment and other activities. Just checking if there would be any interest before I confirm with the site.

Yes Graham They did hold the C&CC last year and they will be again this year we have been told.

The rally field is at the side of the site within 100 yards of club.It has entertainment on the Saturday night which would be an extra £2per person on that night If you wished to go. Its a fully licenced club. So bar drinks only. But you dont have to use the club there is plenty to do and see in Bridgnorth.

Hi Graham & Anita, We visited this site today just to ask about rallies ect to be told the site is fully booked for rallies for this year and most of next year .
This is a cancellation slot it is a one off . Thats why its such short notice, its such a shame because it would be fantastic place for a meet.

That's the one I meant. As Bill says, a great place for a meet. Pity we're booked next week.

Well thanks to the funsters who have shown an interest in this rally. Sadly :Sad: we have decided not to go ahead with it. It is a lovely site and well worth looking at for future rallies

However it looks like there is interest from local funsters, so maybe we can look at arranging a mini meet for the darker nights..
