Default screen washers not working ????

our 2001 kontiki ,on a ducato chassis, is due it's MOT.

while checking everything i found the washers didnt work(they did last time out)

i pulled off the pump from the bottom of the tank and found the filter was coated with a blue snot like substance.

cleaned it off under a fast tap and refitted, works fine

smear a little vasaline on the grommet, it fits back in much easier

i have a feeling its caused by cheap screenwash.

Hi John.
If it stops working again , might have sucked up some blue snot into the plumbing. We hope the MOT go's without complication John.

Let's hope it doesn't fall out as easily.

All the best with the MOT John.

I shall refrain about commenting about vaseline, but I am sure others won't!
