how do I find out about faults if the recalls haven't got to me?

Default Service

I recently had my van serviced by our local main Fiat dealer (Platts) and they told me that if my van was on the recall list it would show up when serviced as everything is now documented on a data bank

I have a X2/50 and been in today to the delears and for me there are 3 recalls.
  1. Stearing rack (bricking it now)
  2. Starter motor
  3. The infamouse water leak on the scuttle

I went to the Purgeot dealer in Carlisle yesterday & asked about recalls I had read about on the Other site. The service manager told me they automatically check any vehicle coming in against a list to see if there are any outstanding recalls on the particular model.

Why not try the same?
